Welcome home.

We are a community trying to make sense of faith. By re-thinking church, we hope to learn more about God, His character and His promise of hope.  We're a United Methodist Church in the West Ohio Conference. 

Though we encourage you to learn more about us by looking through this site (and finding us on social media), the best way to get to know us is to get connected!

Something important to know about us:
Church in the Mall is in the process of merging with Christian Endeavor UMC and Engage Newark Church. At the end of June 2024, Church in the Mall and Engage Newark Church moved into 1415 Londondale Parkway with the Christian Endeavor UMC congregation. We have blended our worship and children's ministries with the goal of becoming one church centered on Christ and loving our greater communities.

The Worship Experience

Our goal is to create a worship experience that is safe and meaningful. During the worship service you will have an opportunity to connect deeper to God through prayer, scripture, giving, and community.

We have a few ways for you and your family to experience Sunday:

Join us in person

We are located at 1415 Londondale Parkway in Newark, Ohio. Worship with us on Sunday mornings at our 9:00 am Traditional Service or our 10:30 am Modern Service.

Where do kids go during service?

We are a multi-generational church and have separate services geared towards kids during the service. Infants and kids up to age three can be supervised in the nursery while we have specific programs for Elementary and Preschool aged kids in the Children’s Wing during the 10:30 am service.
